about Our
Preschool Program

Turning Point Preschool Program is a Paths to Quality Level 3 and On My Way Pre-K Provider. We service children ages 3 to  5, fully potty-trained, preschool students. Our mission is to build a solid foundation for our children to achieve academic, social, and emotional success. We are serious about educating and providing quality childcare for our students in a Christian environment. We implement a perfect blend of the ABEKA curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities/field trips which allows children to have fun while learning.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN PRESCHOOL?

Every student is placed in a preschool class according to their age.  Students begin learning the fundamentals to prepare them for kindergarten.

Schedule

  • Students must arrive by 7:50 a.m. The day will proceed into morning announcements, chapel, group learning time, and morning snacks. Students will then began learning different concepts based on their classroom lessons

  • All preschool students will learn Spanish, have daily reflections, and have a set time for rest.

  • An afternoon snack is given to each student before dismissal.

Math Olympics

Every class prepares for the Math Olympics each year. Each class will compete using number recognition and concept skills including addition and subtraction. This prepares our students for what is expected next year.

Small Class Sizes

Our classroom sizes allow for more personal assistance and a better learning experience for each student. Our student-to-teacher ratio is lower than the state-required ratios for each age group.

Kindergarten Readiness

Our teachers begin preparing our students for their next learning adventure. Preschool students will begin reading and writing before entering kindergarten. Students will also be baseline tested three times a year to ensure that they are prepared academically, socially, and emotionally.

Morning Chapel

Every classroom will have a morning chapel before starting the day. There is an all-school assembly chapel every Friday and parents are encouraged to join.
